Preventative Maintenance

Annual or bi-annual inspections can identify problematic leaks and extend the life of your roof. Learn more about what an 87 Ridgeline Preventative Maintenance Program includes.

Clear Debris

Technicians will clear the roof of any debris, including leaves, sticks, garbage, and more. If a roof has high traffic, it is critical to ensure debris does not puncture the roof and cause leaks.

Damage Inspection

Technicians will check the roof for tears, splits, and punctures, and make any necessary repairs. It is best to identify these problem areas before they lead to long-term damage and costly repairs.

Secure Equipment

High winds can occur during any time of the year but spring and summer are especially prone to intense weather and the threat of tornadoes. Ensuring that all rooftop equipment is properly secured will give you peace of mind if the weather changes for the worse.

Eliminate Blockages

Ponding Water

Technicians will identify the source of the ponding problem and plan a course of action to eliminate the blockage.

Check Flashing

Technicians will inspect and seal all roof-to-wall transitions, and flashing around rooftop units conditioning units, vents, and skylights to eliminate leaks and extend the life of your roof.

What is TPO Roofing?

Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) is a fast-growing commercial roofing system composed of a single-ply roofing membrane. TPO roofing systems consist of a single layer of synthetic materials and reinforcing scrim used to cover flat roofs.

TPO membranes are manufactured in sheets that are 10, 12, or 20 feet wide. After manufacturing, the sheets are rolled up and taken to the commercial facility.

TPO has gained industry acceptance due to its naturally reflective surface, which reflects UV rays. According to the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), TPO accounts for approximately 40% of the commercial roofing market share.

What is PVC Roofing?

For flat or low-slope roofs, PVC is a tried-and-true, high-quality, and durable solution to protect a variety of commercial buildings, from condominiums to retail spaces to restaurants.

What is PVC roofing? PVC is a great single-ply roofing solution made from polyvinyl chloride, or in layman's terms, plastic. Compared to thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) or ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM), it is made from a lower percentage of oil and petroleum. It is also a cool roof membrane with both Energy Star and Cool Roof ratings.

What is EPDM Roofing?

EPDM is a highly durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) that is widely used in low-slope buildings in the United States and worldwide. Its primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas.

EPDM is available in both black and white and comes in a variety of widths, ranging from 7.5 to 50 feet, and in two thicknesses: 45 and 60 mils. EPDM can be installed using one of three methods: fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted. The seams of the roofing system are sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape.
